Machine Pictures

Ideas about minds, machines and evolution, painted with AI. The words have been taken off. What is left is the picture.

About this work

The ideas are mine. The images are made with AI.

Every piece begins with a question I care about: how evolution built the only minds we know, what we can actually see inside a machine, and why careful people still disagree about what AI is. I decide what each picture should say, which art movements should carry it, and what it must never suggest. AI generates the image from that direction. I then review, revise and select until the painting holds the idea.

These are not physical paintings, and they do not claim to be. The painterly style is a deliberate choice: paint shows decisions being made, and decisions are what this collection is about. Every image is labelled as AI-generated, here and in the metadata of its own file.

AI is the instrument. The questions, the judgement and the final choice are mine.
